Safe Holiday Adventure
It’s commonly reached from Ghorepani.
The altitude is around 3,100-3,600 m (various sources: ~3,165 m or up to ~3,600 m) depending on the trail.

It offers panoramic views of major Himalayan peaks such as the Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri range, and others.

Why visit Thapla Danda?
Spectacular mountain vistas: As you reach the ridge, you get wide-angle sky-to-ridge views of the Annapurna & Dhaulagiri ranges, especially at sunset.
Less crowded alternative: Compared to the more popular nearby viewpoint Poon Hill, Thapla Danda is quieter and allows a more peaceful experience.
