The Ghorepani Trek, often called the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, is one of the most famous short treks in Nepal. It lies inside the Annapurna Conservation Area in western Nepal and is known for spectacular Himalayan views, traditional villages, and forests full of Laliguras (rhododendron).
The trek usually starts from Nayapul or Ulleri and climbs up to Ghorepani, a beautiful mountain village located at about 2,874 meters (9,429 ft).
The highlight of the trek is the sunrise hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m). From here, trekkers can see a breathtaking 180-degree panorama of Himalayan peaks including:

When the sun rises, the mountains turn golden and orange, creating one of the most famous sunrise views in the Himalayas.
